PCOS Polycystic Ovary Syndrome is one of the most common female endocrine disorders affecting approximately 5%-10% of women of reproductive age (1248 years old) and is thought to be one of the leading causes of female infertility and leaving many women unable to conceive naturally.
Suffering from PCOS and getting pregnant may seem like an impossibility but you must understand a lot of problems these days can be easily rectified either naturally or medically in the longer term.
Ironically most women who do go onto having a natural pregnancy often find that their PCOS does not re-occur after giving birth and often leads the way for more natural pregnancies occurring in the future, so if you suffer PCOS then be assured that there is a hope to having a successful pregnancy, but also future pregnancies are likely to be unaffected.
If you do suffer from PCOS then as you I know the emotional strain that this can put on both yourself and your partner, you often feel you may never get to have the special baby you so desire, but you must not give up there is hope!!
Having made a number of references to plenty of articles over the internet (see here for this information) and indeed being giving the usual medical advice myself by my doctor that there was little hope of conceiving naturally I desperately searched for an answer about PCOS and getting pregnant.
