There are so many more benefits. For instance, working at home reduces the amount of stress that is normally associated with working for someone else & being amidst the chaos of a staff. We've all experienced the dynamics of gossip, backstabbing & competiveness. One of the key components is you no longer having to answer to anyone or try to fit in. This will save you countless headaches & mental & physical anguish.
Take into consideration that you control who comes into your environment when you are your own boss. When you work for someone else you don't have the luxury of picking & choosing your associations. If you are one to have a positive outlook you will enjoy that you can safeguard yourself from negative individuals. This is pivotal to you thriving solo!
Doing what you want, when you want it, sounds so glamorous but there are pros & cons. How do you make it worth your while? You have to create a functional, effective space that will contribute to the success of your business and your own well being. Before you open the doors for business have a room that can be dedicated to your office. If this is not possible, find a designated space ONLY for your office. Take pride in this area. It really should feel like your sanctuary. This will allow you to be focused as you work, keep your work from spilling into your living space and encourage others to be respectful of your new space.
