Drama Of Fire And Murder Played Out In Foreclosed House

A drama of fire and murder was played out in a foreclosed house

. The ruling has been given Scott Morris murdered wife Kelly Currin Morris and burnt their foreclosed home. He has been indicted for first degree murder.

The case was made public last Tuesday. 35 year old Scott Morris of 113 Church Street, Creedmoor was indicted and sent to jail without bond on 17th November. The media was informed by a deputy court clerk that the case had now been shifted to the Superior Court from the District Court and no date could be scheduled before January.

Simultaneously another drama was being played out. A foreclosure sale was scheduled for the burnt down house located on Trump Wilkins Road to the southeast of Stem. The sale would be held on 5th January outside the office of the Superior Court Clerk.

According to papers filed by Wells Fargo Bank it was stated that Scott Morris had defaulted on his mortgage payments. The last payment had been for the slot closing on 2008 30th September. As per the affidavits the balance owed to the bank amounted to $219,906. To it would be added interest at 6.3% interest since the date of the last payment made together with other fees and expenses.

Wells Fargo referred to a note inked on 2007 February 20th by Scott Morris promising to repay $224,00 together with interest to American Home Mortgage. Later bankruptcy protection was sought. Reference was also made to a document inked by Scott Morris and his wife Kelly Currin Morris that was recorded on 2007 February 22nd.

From 3rd September Kelly Currin Morris could not be traced. The following day the house burst into flames. Kellys Honda Accord (2005) was found nearly a mile distant near a developing sub-division. Inside it was her mobile phone a note book and other personal stuff.

Officials later found the remains of the unfortunate woman by the side of Sam Moss Hayes Road.

Sam Currin, the District Attorney is as yet undecided as to whether death penalty would be sought. The statements made by Scott regarding the disappearance of his wife appeared to be inconsistent. The couple had marital problems, it was stated. They had separated and were already planning to divorce. At the time of her disappearance Kelly was 28 years old and the mother of a daughter by another person and another daughter fathered by Scott.
